MISCELLANEOUS

BOARDING THE YACHT: Each charter will be customized for convenient arrival and departure times and locations. As an option we can provide “boat and breakfast” accommodations on board the yacht the night before your charter. Please contact us at crew@moonshinecat.com for rates and availability.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS: Please contact a travel agent, website or the airlines directly to book your flights and hotels. We will be happy to make recommendations.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: All U.S. citizens are required to have a valid passport. Guests from other countries should check with their country’s consulate.

CURRENCY: The U.S. dollar is the local currency in the British Virgin Islands. Most restaurants accept major credit cards, however we suggest you also bring either cash or travelers checks to use in the smaller restaurants and shops.

ITINERARY: Your crew will develop an itinerary based on your preferences, or you can leave it up to your crew. This is a truly customized vacation, so whether you like secluded bays or dancing to a calypso steel drum band, or both, just let your crew know. John & Lynn have extensive knowledge of the islands and have a true desire to provide to you the best vacation ever!

CHILDREN: We wholeheartedly welcome families with children, this is a fantastic family vacation experience. We suggest that your children be good swimmers.

SMOKING: “Moonshine” is a non smoking yacht and your crew are non smoking. You are welcome to bring cigars and cigarettes to enjoy on shore.

DRUGS: “Moonshine” is a U.S. flagged vessel and participates in the U.S. Coast Guard’s Zero Tolerance Program. Illegal drugs are simply not allowed on board or there will be cause for immediate termination of the charter with no refund of lost days.

CORAL REEFS: Many varieties of coral abound in the Virgin Islands. They are made up of millions of tiny, fragile organisms. One careless swipe of a flipper or by touching them with your fingers kills them and it takes many years to grow back. You may also become infected from coral cuts and scratches. Please enjoy their beauty from a distance, along with all other sea life. Help protect the marine environment and look and photograph, but please do NOT touch.

DONATIONS: A portion of the proceeds from each charter will be donated to Virgin Islands Search and Rescue (V.I.S.A.R.) and the Association of Reef Keepers (A.R.K.).
